Here's what a Tuesday looks like when you're living in the UK:
- Waking up without an alarm at 7:30 (which if you know me at all, is quite a feat in itself). Thank you biological clocks.
- Running through Kensington Gardens which yes, are literally across the road from where I live. Nothing like starting your day off with a run past where Princess Di first lived after marrying Prince Charles.
- After a quick breakfast, attending class for three hours because I thought I'd be fine with 15 credit hours in Europe. What was I thinking?!
- Jumping on a tube and getting off at Tottenham Court Road (tell me you don't automatically switch into a British accent while saying that)
- Spending a good part of your afternoon in the British Museum. Established in 1753, this museum is on the top of the list of things to visit when you come to London. It even houses the Rosetta Stone!
- Passing by the British library and making plans to come back on a later day-- there are original manuscripts of Beatle's songs and Dickens' literature is in that building!
- Popping into King's Cross station and visiting "Platform 9 and 3/4"
-Taking a visit to Piccadilly Circus and Oxford Street after dinner, followed up with some fro yo that's under 100 calories! yes I totally just dubbed myself as THAT girl. Remember this post? making progress.
Oh.. and yesterday we FINALLY got around to visiting Buckingham Palace. Can you believe I've been here for over a week and I hadn't seen that? So much to do!
